June 30th

3pm: Check in at the villa lobby at San Lorenzo a Linari. If you are going to need a late check in, please let us know and we will make the arrangements for you. The afternoon is yours to relax in your room, explore the property, or grab a drink at the lobby bar.

6:30pm: Welcome Party! Meet us in the wooded garden for delicious pizza,  wine and of course, decadent gelato.

Dress: This is a casual, countryside event. 

Ladies…wear whatever you would wear to sip vino at a winery on a hot summer day.  

Guys…wear whatever you would wear when you are crushing it on the links.

July 1st

8am-10am: Indulge in the tasty continental breakfast served at San Lorenzo’s onsite restaurant, La’Posteria. Spend the morning and afternoon how you choose. Take some time to explore the historic city of Siena (only 6km from villa), take in the beauty of Tuscany by hiking the trails near San Lorenzo, or visit a local winery. Or, if you would prefer a more relaxing day, hang out by the pool and grab lunch at La Posteria.

4:30pm: We kindly ask that you are back to enjoy our wedding day events, beginning with a Welcome Drink in the courtyard.

Dress:  We requested semi-formal attire on the invitations, but what does that actually mean?  We know its going to be hot and we want you to be comfortable. And we certainly don’t want you to wear anything that is going to restrict your amazing dance moves! 

Ladies…midi or maxi dresses would be a perfect choice to keep you cool while tearing it up on the dance floor.

Guys…dress pants and dress shirts are great, either with or without a jacket and tie. We all know that the ties and jackets will need to come off before you can properly bust a move.

July 2nd

Sleep in, grab breakfast (or lunch for those who need the extra sleep) and recover with us by the pool. Or, feel free to do some exploring and site seeing if you feel the need to burn off left over energy.

7:00pm: Farewell Dinner! Join us in the courtyard for a selection of authentic pasta dishes and regional wines as we toast to 3 days full of love, family and friends!

Dress: This is meant to be a relaxing and comfortable gathering where we enjoy one last evening together.

Ladies…sun-dresses (short or long), or a pair of nice shorts would certainly fit the vibe. 

Guys…shorts with collared shirts or even dressier t-shirts would be perfect. 

 

July 3rd

Enjoy breakfast and say “arrivederci” to family, friends and San Lorenzo!
